I had such a positive experience at this family practice! Everyone, from the front desk to the medical staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Phillips explained things in a way I could understand and listened carefully to my concerns. She really made me feel like my health mattered. I left feeling comfortable and confident in my care. I definitely recommend this office.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Inside and out. She’s a woman of God. She’s not one to just force medicine. She’s going to educate you. Dr. Phillips knows her stuff and she doesn’t play. In a good way that is. My family loves her. She delivered my baby and will deliver my future babies to come. 🫶🏾

I can not say enough fantastic and positive things about this entire practice. They treat you with respect and care more than any other office I have ever been to. By far the best Dr & all around staff I have ever experienced! I had my first child with Dr.Phillips & she knows exactly how to direct her patients to a successful pregnancy with upfront honesty, great ways of explaining terminology, & consistent communication. If I hadn’t had an emergency c section & insurance change I would have without a doubt had my second with her as well. You also do not always find that an amazing Dr always has a well run, professional, and compassionate office staff. Dr.Philips delivered my baby at Wellington regional this past weekend and I am so happy with how everything turned out. I went in terrified because my first birth was with a different ob and it was very traumatic. This birth was totally the opposite not only was she so gentle and caring but she walked me through the whole thing and made me feel comfortable. I am so relieved on how everything turned out. 4 weeks postpartum & just have to say how amazing my pregnancy experience was because of Dr. Phillip’s & her whole office! I looked forward to every visit, always got my questions answered & was reassured that as a FTM it was normal to have all my questions and encouraged to keep asking! The care was truly personalized and Dr. Phillips really got to know me and catered to what I was receptive to & what worked for me especially during labor and delivery. I believe being her patient definitely made the hospital visit better as well! The hospital nurses know the type of care she provides for her patients and I never felt pressured and looked over. I truly am SO grateful for Dr. Phillips. I came to her during my first trimester of my IVF pregnancy. While it was a rather uneventful pregnancy, Dr Phillips always informed me of any and all possible complications that come along with an ivf pregnancy. But never did I feel scared and always empowered with information. Each appointment my questions were answered and never did I feel rushed. I always knew Dr. Phillips was who I wanted to deliver my baby, but when it came time to deliver, she was exactly who I needed to be there. The morning of my water breaking, she let me know that my little guy was probably around 8.5-9lbs and offered a c section if I wanted to go that route. I looked at her and said do you think I can push him out, and she believed I could. I was able to push my 9lb baby boy out in less than 30 minutes with her coaching and encouragement in labor. Grateful is an understatement. 🫶🏼

This was truly a great experience for me being a first time mom NP family practice & midwifery care made it really amazing for me. Best Doctor I’ve ever had in my life, I’m not fond of hospitals and get anxious in those settings but from the moment I changed OBGYN doctors in the beginning of my pregnancy I had such a sense of ease about everything. From the monthly visits to labor Dr. Philips was absolutely amazing I love her and her team beyond words. Such well educated, loving, respectful, and sweet group of women. This was my first pregnancy so I’d definitely recommend Dr. Philips to anyone looking for a sense of peace and tranquility. She will always educate you, vouch for you, and even listen to your needs but will always have the best plan of action for you and your baby. Nikia is amazing she’s is not only my GYN but she’s is also my Primary care physician ,one stop shop. When I switched to her about 3 years ago I felt so welcomed and she took her time to get to know me ,she addressed my concerns and answered any questions I had throughly . Everytime I have a visit her staff is so welcoming and I feel like family ! I recommend her 1000 times over !

Dr Phillips provided exceptional prenatal care as well as amazing care during my birth and after. It was very comforting to know that I could trust the advice and direction from Dr Phillips when I had to have an unexpected c section. I absolutely love this practice for my teen girls. Nikia is so professional and sweet with them. I love that she talks with them individually before bringing me in. She is a great fit for the transition from pediatrician to family practice. I also have nothing but great things to say about her office staff too. The most amazing practitioner and practice ever!! I delivered my first baby with a doctor that never saw me for more than a few minutes, that I never had a personable conversation with and I just went to because I didn’t know any better. She didn’t attend my birth and so when I was pregnant with my second, I sought out a better experience and meting Nikia Philips was like a breath of fresh air. She is so personable, funny, experienced and professional that I immediately knew I would never go anywhere else. I received the best prenatal care, felt like she actually knew and cared about me and my birth with her was the smoothest and easiest birth I could have ever dreamt of. I am 4 days postpartum and literally can’t wait for my next pregnancy because I’m legitimately going to miss going to my prenatal appointments! I would recommend Nikia to everyone I meet. She is literally that amazing.

Nikia is the most wonderful OB I have ever had and that’s truly an understatement. Her care, manners, wisdom and expertise is absolutely remarkable. She’s so lovable, thoughtful and down to earth but so great at what she does. I always look forward to all of my visits. Augustina and Katelyn are a reflection of her because they’re just as welcoming and knowledgeable. Having recently delivered my 3rd child with her, I wish I’d joined her practice sooner because this pregnancy and delivery was so amazing. I’ll be switching my insurance so she can be my Primary Doctor as well. I recommend her to any and everyone and when my daughters are of age, they’ll be her patients as well.

Literally the best medical practice there is! I switched to Dr.Philips around the halfway point in my pregnancy. I told her that I just wanted to work with a practice where I felt like someone cared and knew who I was and that's exactly what this place is. It's a small practice and that's what makes it so wonderful. Augustina and Katelyn were so helpful throughout everything and Dr.Philips is an amazing woman who is caring and laid back while also really knowing her stuff. I could go on and on. I’m finally getting around to leaving this very well deserved review! Nikia was hands down the sweetest and most thoughtful OB I have ever been cared by. She made my pregnancy, birth, and experience exceptional and far better than I could have wished for. Herself and all of her staff have the best bedside manners and treat you like family from the very first time you meet. Her practice is very intimate and they never make you feel rushed or disregarded. She respected and supported all of my decisions and questions and I would recommend her to anyone looking for quality care. My transition into motherhood couldn’t have gone any better and I can’t wait to continue my care with her when we’re ready for baby #2!

Dr. Nakia is a true wholistic provider. She is dedicated to giving individualized care to her patients. She treated my daughter during her pregnancy and educated her along the way. Because of her compassion and guidance my daughter is a not only a confident young mother but also aware of what receiving quality care feels like. Throughout her delivery process she was patient and attentive and made sure that she was able to deliver her son naturally and safely. We are beyond grateful that this woman stands for what is only right and necessary and ADVOCATES for her patients.

Very welcoming staff. Anytime I have a question, I can call the office. When I leave a message, they always return my call and are so nice. They remember my name and make sure I understand all necessary paperwork. Very glad I changed to this office. I feel very well taken care of.

If you’re looking for a great practice, I strongly recommend the ladies at NP! The girls at the front desk are wonderful every single time you arrive, and Nikia truly is the best midwife I could have asked for. I transferred over to this practice after a horrific experience at my previous provider, and they accepted me in my third trimester. My delivery went smoothly because of Nikia’s knowledge and guidance. They have treated not only me, but my partner as well, with nothing but kindness and care. We were truly blessed to find this practice and I encourage everyone to go here! 💙

I was pregnant with my second child and having a VBAC, Nikia was with me every step of the way in the hospital and gave me all the confidence and encouragement I needed to make it through and deliver successfully. The best midwife in the world.

It was my first time coming to an OBGYN that I felt comfortable in, in a long time. Everyone was extremely nice and thoughtful. Nikia was very open and actually listened to my concerns thoughts and feelings. Loved every moment of my visit.

My first pregnancy was an experience with another wonderful physician however when it came time to give birth he was away on vacation leaving me with just any doctor available at the hospital. It was the most challenging and traumatizing experience which left me with PTSD and anxiety to never have another kid. Well years later God allowed me to carry one more and I remember way before finding out I was pregnant I said I want another OBGYN but someone who has purpose and can be more relatable someone who will listen and make me feel safe because I don’t want to experience another traumatic experience again. I remember a few women in my area speaking about NP family practice and I promised myself this is where I will go when I have another child. Praise God! I been here ever since and I’ll tell you I feel so safe every time I come into the office. It feels like a second home. Very beautiful, calming music, and the staff are so kind they feel like friends and family. Everyone is so knowledgeable and truly want your best interest. I tell everyone I know about this practice because we need to have safe pregnancies and deliveries especially women of color whose mortality rate is higher. But I’m so thankful that I am being seen by a wonderful physician as I’m always heard and never rushed. I never sit for long in the waiting room maybe 10 minutes most but overall it’s wonderful. I always look forward to my appointments! I recommend for you and those you know to come here. If I could give 1 million star rating I would do it!!!

I found Nikia my final trimester of pregnancy, after I felt another office was treating me like a cash cow with all these unnecessary tests that at the end of the day weren’t even covered by insurance and just caused me unnecessary fear. Eventually I decided I wanted a midwife experience instead of having an OBGYN, they are more personable. I was referred to Nikia specifically from someone who works at the hospital where I was planning to deliver. She provided an amazing pregnancy and birthing experience, not only for me but even for my husband. The day my water ruptured at like 9 PM Nikia visited me twice that night and she really kicked the birth process into gear. First by softening the cervix, then another thing to get me dilated, and when it came time to push— I got to meet my baby boy in 15 minutes! I heard about all these horrible birth stories and I feel a lot of that has to do with the doctor you choose and their hands on knowledge. My birth experience with Nikia was liberating to say the least. I’m excited to work with her again for all my future pregnancies.

Nikia and her staff are absolutely wonderful! They make you feel comfortable and well cared for. The office atmosphere is always positive and the bedside manner given is A+. I became a patient of Ms. Philips back in September 2020. I was looking for someone who had great bedside manner, takes their time to speak with the patient and is very thorough. Someone who would take their time to explain everything and not just rush through. Ms. Phillips fits the bill. My first appt with her was almost 30 minutes. She did a thorough review of my family history and gave her recommendations. She had my blood drawn and went over line by line the results at the next appt. Not too many drs do that today. It's never difficult to schedule an appt and her front desk staff knows you by name. You are seen pretty much right away. Speaking of the front desk staff, recently there was an issue with my prescription and the pharmacy. Although the pharmacy gave her staff a hard time they handled it with kindness and the prescription was filled. If you are looking for a really good practitioner to take care if you and your family, please check out NP Family practice. You wont be disappointed.
