Admired for her holistic perspective and compassionate approach, Dr. Nikia Phillips has dedicated her career to providing remarkable medical care to her patients.
Dr. Phillips is an alumna of Florida Atlantic University. She began her journey in 2009 by earning a Master’s degree in Nursing. In 2014, she furthered her expertise in women’s health by pursuing a Post-Masters degree in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University and completed her Doctorate from F.A.U. in 2023. With her passion and commitment as a healthcare professional, Dr.Phillips has become one of the few Family Nurse Practitioners in the state of Florida to own and operate an" independent practice", NP Family Practice and Midwifery Care. She is the first Midwife and the first African-American Midwife to deliver at Palms West and JFK hospitals in Palm Beach County through her private practice. Her practice is focused on making a positive impact in the healthcare industry and offers unique services that cater to every stage of life. She focuses on her patients’ overall well-being rather than just addressing their symptoms
In addition to her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her supportive husband, children, and family, and she seizes every opportunity to mentor young women. Dr. Phillips is associated with the American College of Nurse Midwives, the Nurse Practitioner Council of Palm Beach County, and the T. Leroy Jefferson Medical Society.
